Sebastian Linsin is a historian of the built environment focussing on the entanglements of urban planning, real estate, and grassroots activism, predominantly in North America and Southeast Asia during the 1960s and 1970s. Prior to joining Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main as a research associate (PostDoc) in the DFG Research Group “Organizing Architectures,” he served as an urban planner in the suburbs of Zurich and as a research assistant at the Future Cities Laboratory (Singapore ETH Center) and the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta, ETH Zurich). Sebastian holds a Master’s degree in Architecture (2015) and a PhD (2024) both from ETH Zurich.
