Sebastian Linsin is a historian of the built environment, focusing on the entanglements of urban planning, architecture, and grassroots activism, predominantly in North America and Southeast Asia during the 1960s and 1970s. Before joining the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main as a research associate (PostDoc) in the DFG Research Group "Organizing Architectures," he served as a research assistant at the Future Cities Laboratory (Singapore ETH Center) and the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (ETH Zurich). He holds a PhD in architectural history (2024) and a master's degree in architecture (2015) from ETH Zurich.
